To all the moms out there: Happy Mother's Day! Hope you are all having a special day, for all of you moms out there are very special!
I get former PC World columnist Steve Bass' Techbites Newsletter (check it out/sign up for the great free weekly newsletter that you can get in your inbox for really cool and helpful computer information like excellent security, tools and utility programs-many of them free and links for Internet interests TechBite by Steve Bass) In Techbite's Time Wasters section-where there are Internet silliness, games and funny videos, I found this (I embedded from Bass' YT channel) funny clip: (off-color language)

* Geez-I can't keep those Eugene Mirman (where he recorded a homophobic long distance company's spiel-and his very funny responses) links up to save my life! I have had mp3's, Youtube "videos" of these 3 calls, and now-nothing. I did find an Mp3 (on a really cool Internet pop media site WFMU WFMU's Beware of the Blog -check it out for all manner of odd, funny, and really neat Internet stuff!) of one of the funnier of the 3 calls (not the funniest-that's the one with the male caller in my opinion!) Until I get more of these sacred Mp3's, here is the Mp3 of the call from "Kizzie Musselman" of the "Faith, Family and Freedom Campaign."
Speaking of Eugene, he seems to get a lot of weird telemarketing calls. And he seems to quite enjoy making jokes out of them! On Mirman's site he has a bunch of streaming media of these calls, including all 3 right wing Christian anti-gay telemarketer calls for you to hear. Check them out! There's also some other assorted stuff to enjoy!

Too busy to do much but these are great!
This site is similar in nature to Jon Swift's great site-but this is Jon Swift in overdrive! Funny! The Good Kentuckian.
I think I had found a link for The Good Kentuckian through Crooks and Liars, then found a link for Liberals Must Die. LiberalsMustDie.com Can't remember. I just know that both these blogs are pretty good!
Pretty funny stuff-and there are lots of posts to choose from! The tags alone are pretty funny.
*Don't forget to check out these two blog's links to more craziness!

Musical Comedians
I don't know why, but even though I had always wanted to post comedian Sean Cullen's Food of Your Choice thing a long time ago-I never got around to it. I like this guy's comedy. He's got a funny-looking face-great for making all those silly facial expressions, the funny voice, the music, the weirdness-all the things I enjoy in comedy. I don't know why, but for some reason he reminds me of a character from Ren and Stimpy!
Chimp and The Woman:
Food of Your Choice: I remember a version of this he did that included a reference to Bill Cosby's pudding. This version is puddingless, but still kinda funny.
One of my all-time favorite comedians is a great guitarist, and incorporates that great playing into his hilarious progressive songs!

Master of the Internet
Master
Master Bates?
Here are Chuck and Larry Bates, but where's Master?

This father and son team spew some of the most vile far right talk radio ever on their radio show News and Views. (I don't recommend you seek it out unless you have a strong stomach!) I haven't heard anything on radio that is more sickening than these two. But, I sometimes listen-incredulously-to see if they can top what they said the last time. I don't know why....

Videos for going back to the grind...
This clip "gets" Glenn Beck perfectly.
This dog's reaction to a fart is pretty funny. I don't know if it's how the dog looks combined with how the fart sounds and how surprised the dog looks? It's funny.

In other news...
Recently, in a crowded NYC elevator, David Byrne "accidentally let one go" according to numerous bystanders.
Also, it was reported by a recording industry executive insider that noted Dr. Sanjay Gupta has decided to give up medicine and embark on a singing career.
I have found a great sketch comedy troupe on Youtube P0YKPAC some of you may have heard of and seen clips from. I wish I had seen some of their stuff earlier! They are great! Sometimes the "online" and Youtube comedy groups you can find surfing around the Internet have a few skits that are pretty funny, and more that aren't. (and there are some comedy gangs that just are not up to snuff). Well, these guys are up to snuff, and I am sure I will be posting a lot of their stuff in the future!
